Zach Zaborny earned his bachelors degree in Mass Communications from Kansas State University in 2012. Born at 26 weeks and weighing only 1lbs 12oz, Zach spent the first six months of his life in the hospital. After overcoming many early obstacles, he grew up to have a normal and healthy childhood. At 8 years of age he was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome.
In 2013, Zach started The ZEZ Connection, a blog that details his life and experiences living with Asperger’s. Zach is an international speaker and autism self-advocate. He speaks at conferences and events around the world, where he shares his story, providing hope through humor and education through acceptance.
In 2015, he published a short memoir about his college experience with autism, Education of An Aspie: College Through My Eyes which can be found on Amazon.com around the world.
He currently works and lives in Windsor, Queensland, Australia, working with EPIC Assist as a Disability Liaison Officer in the Recruit Assist division. In this role, he assists people with disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum, find meaningful employment, speaks to companies and organizations throughout Australia about the benefits of hiring workers on the autism spectrum and supports EPIC through events, conferences and key industry bodies.
